Historical New Construction

This unique assignment was to create an interior that was both true to its historical architecture yet appeal to modern lifestyles. The original house that was on this property was historical, the builder complied to the strict historical guidelines on the exterior however, the interior was mine to design. I immediately knew the walls and trim could not be painted white. I chose a soft off white for the wall and the same color on the rim only a few shades darker. I discussed taking this chance with building on a spec house, that made all the difference.
